Learning Spanish AR verbs with Señor Jordan!

Click here for a complete post on Spanish ar verbs!

Hi guys!

Here is one of the greatest blogs for learning Spanish, especially for the very beginner (but not only!): The blog of Señor Jordan.

His explanations are brilliant, and he never overloads the students with too much. Take for example how he explains the verbs in Spanish ending in "ar": He carries you through all the subject pronouns (I, you, he, she, etc.), and conjugates a bunch of verbs with each one at a time. Exactly how I think it should be done.

So here is the first video where he teaches us how to conjugate verbs in the first person YO:

Here are the verbs he uses:

Ayudar

Bailar

Cantar

Cocinar

Dibujar

Enseñar

Escuchar

Estudiar

Hablar

Nadar

Necesitar

Patinar

Terminar

Tocar

Trabajar

TIP: Write these verbs down on cards, carry them around and practice at least once a day saying these verbs with YO. You'll see that within a week you will know them automatically (and made it sound natural for you that verbs conjugated with YO end up in "o").

Visit Señor Jordan's site! :-) He has so many other videos teaching other aspects of the Spanish language, like adjectives, nouns, adverbs, etc.

I will be borrowing other videos from him teaching how to conjugate the Spanish "ar" verbs with the other subject pronouns.

Keep tune!
