The verb HACER is translated as to do, to make.
The Spanish verb HACER is irregular in the Present (only in the first person singular), Preterit and Future.
For the Imperfect, the verb hacer follows the regular rule: stem of the verb + endings.

Those verbs follow the same conjugation pattern as above:
- deshacer (to undo)
- rehacer (to redo)
- satisfacer (to satisfy)
The verb HACER is frequently used in those daily expressions :
weather expressions :
- Hace mucho calor. (It is too hot.)
- Hace frío. (It's cold.)
- Hace un hermoso día. (It´s a beautiful day.)
time expressions :
- Hace tiempo que no veo a Carlos. (It has been some time since I don´t see Carlos.)
- Hace dos meses que dejé de fumar. (Two months ago I stopped smoking.)
- Hace una semana encontré a Marina en el club. (A week ago I met Marina in the club.)
